The Century Star has been one of the most popular ships on the Yangtze River since its first voyage in 2003. All equipment on the ship was imported from the U.S. and Europe. With its grand, two-story lobby to its beautiful ballroom, elegant restaurant, and top furnishings, the ship boasts the same comforts and amenities as is found in a five-star hotel.

The ship serves a great variety of food. Cuisine from the Yangtze Region and Western food, such as grilled salmon and tender steak, are served. The ship is equipped with radar, sonar, and GPS systems, assuring the safest navigation and cruise comfort.
The ship features spacious, all-outside cabins, each with a private balcony, a phone, a color TV, a mini bar, and Western bathrooms. The two beds in standard cabins can be combined to form a king-size bed. Presidential suites and deluxe standard cabins have a bathtub, a hairdryer, and a telephone in the bathroom. Rooms are not internet equipped and the ship has internet cafes which can be used for a fee(RMB30/hour).
