Service & Entertainment
A Chinese proverb says, "At home all things are good; traveling makes everything hard. "
With all due respect to the proverbial ancient Chinese author, we DISAGREE. That proverb is no longer necessarily true. Times have changed!
China Regal Cruises assures you that once aboard one of our Princesses, you'll find that "on the ship, things are great; traveling is easy and pleasurable."
The service onboard makes one of the biggest differences and has consistently been rated the best on the river by both travelers and travel professionals. The staff, meals, bar, attention to rooms (fresh linens, fruit, flowers, water, etc), ship's doctor, traditional Chinese facials, traditional Chinese foot and full body massages, onboard shops offering a nice variety of quality items, a digital photo shop, and many other amenities all combine to make your trip comfortable, and in some ways even more convenient than home - unless, of course, you already have all of those niceties in your home.
A wide variety of scintillating offerings of fine Chinese and Western cuisines are served buffet style so that you can have as little or as much as you like of everything on the menu. And they are nothing short of splendid. There is something to delight the discriminating gourmet in everyone. Those serving at table are skilled at being attentive without being obtrusive.
Aged and disabled passengers will find the crew particularly sensitive to their needs in all areas of the boat as well as during embarkation, disembarkation, and excursions.
Activities include lectures on the peoples and cultures populating the Yangtze River valley, the geology of the gorges, and the regional flora and fauna. Tai Ji classes are taught, weather and time permitting.
Entertainment is lively, presenting among other things song and dance selections from several different groups of the indigenous peoples. Guests are regularly invited to participate in some of the entertainment, particularly but not limited to the talent show (so bring your kazoo and your guitfiddle). Movies are also available at regularly scheduled times and by request.
China Regal Cruises will make you feel "regal" indeed and your travel will be an unforgettable joy. The only regret that you will have is if you don't choose to cruise. So come sail with us, experience "The New Age Of Yangtze River Cruising" and you will find that, onboard, and along the river, things really are good.
